This history behind this collection is a story in itself, so it was an honor to help this family share their father's legacy while creating space for them to tell their own stories. In German, seilbhan means aerial tramway or cable car, and this collection celebrates a ski lift engineer's lifelong contributions to mountain resorts around the world. It also highlights the family's love of travel, games, and skiing as well. One of my favorite parts of this work is hearing the stories and memories from clients as we work to curate their collections and shelves. It is always an honor to be entrusted to care for these special artifacts and memories.

“Drawing from the rich history of Palisades Tahoe and the rugged beauty of the Sierra Nevadas, this curated library invites guests to engage with the region through story and play. Books exploring local landscapes, ski culture, and mountain adventure are complemented by vintage bookshelf games and modernist accents, creating a relaxed yet refined après-ski reading experience.”

“In this project, we prioritized a cozy reading environment over floor-to-ceiling shelving by designing a built-in window seat with integrated storage for books and dress-up clothing. A sleek tower bookshelf provides easy access to favorite titles, creating a space that is both functional and inviting— also Clover approved!”

"This high school library redesign transformed an outdated space into a warm, contemporary environment that supports both study and collaboration. The design made creative use of existing furniture and community donations, pairing them with new selections for balance and cohesion. Through thoughtful space planning, updated furniture, and redesigned seating areas, this project demonstrates how resourceful design can elevate an academic setting while remaining student-friendly and cost-effective."
